Perfection personified, or canine-ified, to be exact. Agnes is the “it” pup who loves life and is HAPPY despite her unfortunate beginnings.
That’s right, Agnes was an owner surrender by people who said they could not afford her care. Even worse, she was left, abandoned, and tied up outside. We are now looking for the perfect home for our perfect little dog!
Agnes harbors a little leftover nervousness from her previous ordeal, but she is mostly a busy, friendly, and active little girl. She loves everyone and everything but really loves to play with other dogs. When out on a walk, she will try to engage with any dogs she sees, and here in her foster home, she loves to play with the resident English Bulldog.
Did someone say windows? Sunshine? We’re talking about major bliss! After zooming around in her fenced yard – a must – Agnes collapses in any patch of sunshine she can find, and there she will nap to her hearts content.
In addition to patches of sun, bring on the BONES! Agnes adores her bones, and in fact, as foster Mom says, BONES ARE LIFE! And what’s really cool, she has happily shared her bones with her canine sibs.
If you like to travel, Agnes would be a wonderful companion. She loves riding in the car. She doesn’t like to be left alone but she still does well in her crate when her foster family goes to work. Otherwise, she will cry if no one is around.
Agnes is a healthy girl except for a few minor things. She has some allergies that medication and good food are resolving. Her vulva is recessed and that will need to be kept clean. And like many short-nosed pups, she has an elongated soft palate, which has so far not caused any issues.
Because of potential issues with her breathing, her new family needs to have experience with short-nosed dogs. A family with kids and dogs would be the ideal situation for Agnes. A single-family home or townhouse, with a fenced-in backyard, in a suburban or rural environment would be perfect!
Foster Mom says:
Agnes is by far the easiest foster we have ever had. Lots of fun and makes us laugh. We will miss her, but she deserves a family with younger dogs and kids. Such a good girl with lots of personality. She is a perfect girl! Her new family will be hitting the jackpot.
