Callie

Callie

Looking for the quintessential lovebug to cuddle with on these cold winter days? Then classic Frenchie Callie is your girl!

Talk about a rough start, Callie was found as a stray that had recently had a litter. She was also found to have a hematoma on one ear, that was surgically repaired. Despite some allergies manifested in paw licking, Callie is an energetic, healthy girl!

And yes, she is a true-to-her-Frenchie breed. She’ll entertain with a set of zoomies and then collapse at your feet. Kisses? You’re in for a major kissing fest because Callie loves EVERYBODY and is determined to show it! And if she’s not kissing you, she’s snuggled up just as close as it’s physically possible to be. But because she is such an energetic girl, we recommend a home without young kids because of her tendency to jump up with great exuberance and knock them over.

This outgoing, friendly, feisty little nugget tends to be a bit on the dominant side, and she and her resident foster sister have some issues. Thus, possibly a home with a calm, male canine brother or brothers would be the best fit.

Callie loves life and everything in it. She loves to play ball, play with soft, crinkly toys, and of course, she relishes her chewy treats. She adores belly rubs, car rides, and long walks with her humans. Simply put, she wants to be with her humans at all times.

Especially since Frenchies are a unique breed, Callie needs owners with previous dog experience, A single person, older couple, younger couple, or family with kids would all work as her adoptive family. Locations in the city, suburbs, or country would be fine, as well as a home in an apartment, townhouse, or single-family house.

It’s always the foster Mom who has the last, and best, word about her charge, and here’s what Callie’s Mom has to say about her:

Callie has had a rough start to life of which we do not know all the details. However, even with this difficult life before SNORT, she is an absolute lovebug. She is kind, loving, and sweet and has shown no aggression to any humans. In fact, we have not met a person she does not shower with kisses. Again, she has done very well with our calm male French bulldog but interaction with our female French bulldog has been a challenge. Pairing with the correct personality will be crucial.
