Chubbz

Chubbz

Imagine – 8 or 9 years old and wandering around a construction site, all alone, with nowhere to go and no one to help you. That’s the predicament our Chubbz found herself in. And now, though she’s safe and cared for in her foster home, she is looking for that ultimate home she can call her own.

Human? Did someone say human? Chubbz is dying to find her one and only human to love and snuggle with. She promises to be a true Velcro pup – being with you is her only goal in life.

Even with being a tripod, Chubbz keeps up with the best of them! House-training is underway, and it appears that may be an issue with incontinence for which her foster home is starting her on some medication.

Up until now, this sweet pup has done her duty, and then some, as a breeder, and recently, a mammary mass was removed that has proven to be low-grade malignant.

Chubbz lives with a canine sibling that she coexists with, and occasionally absconds with and tries to bury his toys but he isn’t her favorite. She came into rescue with another female Boston and lived with her just fine so slow introductions and time to decompress correctly, she might enjoy a furry companion. After doing her duty for so long, she deserves to be a true couch warmer and queen-bee of the household.

Adaptability is an apt word to describe Chubbz. She would do well in most environments in loving adult homes with people who have dog experience.

Here is what Chubbz foster mom has to say about her charge:

Chubbz has been through a lot in her life. She has had multiple litters and now it’s time to spend the rest of her life being treated like the queen she is. She’s a girl’s girl, loves dressing up and hanging out with the ladies to gossip. (She can keep a secret).
