Hi, I’m Decker and oh boy, do I have a lot to tell you about myself!
If I could talk, I think I’d talk 100 miles an hour. I am just so excited and I LOVE LIFE! I
love lots of things, in fact. I love walks. Playtime. My humans. Other small dogs.
Attention.
My foster family says that I am smart (I could have told them that!) and super easy to
train. I do have a lot of energy, though, so my forever family must be committed to
regular walks and playtime. A fenced-in yard isn’t required, but I think I’d really, really
like one! That way I can explore and zoomie to my heart’s desire!
I also like to play with balls and chew toys. I really like stuffies, too, but I tend to destroy
them. Whoops! I even really like car rides if you want a new roadtrip buddy!
I already know “come,” “sit,” and “leave it,” (see, I told you I was smart!) and I don’t even
need to be crated during the day. Sometimes I can get into things I shouldn’t though, so
my space must be dog proofed. I have also made it very clear that I do not enjoy being
crated! I really don’t like being left alone all day, either – I’m a people dog! I need to be
around my humans.
And I’m a super healthy little guy. No chronic health conditions to be worried about here!
I do get along well with dogs my size or smaller but I’m untested around cats. Because
I’m a tad energetic, I think I’d do well with kids five and older. I’m not a mean guy – quite
the opposite! – but my energy levels might be a bit too much for smaller children.
Well, I think that about sums me up. I sure do sound perfect, don’t I? So, get your
