Looking for the Rose to your Dorothy? Meet Elsa, your Golden Girl!
This sweet senior left St. Olaf when her previous owners surrendered her to address some medical needs. A kind vet took her in and performed a spay, as well as nare and palate surgery. Elsa’s such a charmer that the vet planned to keep her, until she discovered her love for chasing cats (a little more Alf than Rose, if you ask me)!
At 9 years old, Elsa is ready to be your perfect roommate. She loves joining you on the couch, taking leisurely strolls around the neighborhood, or simply enjoying a snack and a cozy nap. Apart from some arthritis, Elsa is healthy and happy.
Elsa’s perfect home allows her to spend most of the day with her people (though she could deal with just a mid-day walk). In typical EBD fashion, she doesn’t like to miss the party – if she knows you’re home and keeping her separate, she’ll voice her displeasure. But when left home alone, she’s quiet and well-behaved. She currently sleeps in a crate at night in her foster home but would probably enjoy a snuggle in your bed too.
Elsa would be a great family dog and could live with or without other dogs, so long as there are no cats or cat-sized dogs in the mix.
