Rooooooar! That’s “hi” in Lion, if you didn’t know! My name’s Gabby, and the reason I speak a little bit of lion is because I’m a little bit a lion… well, I have lion jaw, that is. But don’t worry, it doesn’t hurt to be part lion, and I can do everything any other pup who’s waiting for their first birthday can do, even with my beautifully pronounced and unique jawbone. Speaking of bones; boy, do I love them! They are so fun to chew on, they will keep me happy all day! Sometimes, if I don’t have one handy, I’ll nibble on my own toes (I may have some allergies that make me want to do this sometimes), but if you put a bone in front of me, I’m on it!
Even with the lion in me, I have to say, I’m mostly a lamb. I’m pretty shy and submissive, and I don’t much care for big noise and busy places, especially if I don’t have time to adjust to them. When I meet new people or dogs, it can take me a little while to feel safe and comfortable, but when I do, I am very friendly and sweet and even silly with the people and puppers I love! I have lots of foster siblings who I get along with great, and I think snuggling on the couch with my people is one of the best things ever!
I also think car rides are great fun, and I would always rather go for a ride than stay home by myself. I’m very used to having people and other pups around with me all day, and it would be so nice if my forever family could be home with me most of the time, too. I could get used to my humans going to work, but it would take some patience to help me acclimate, and I would definitely love at least one sibling around so I don’t get lonely… lions need their prides, you know! Since I’m still a baby, I could use a brother or sister to help me remember where to go potty and when, and to teach me other cool things about being a dog, though I am learning really fast and am very close to being fully potty trained (not to brag)! I am so excited to start this next chapter in my life, and if you’re looking for a gentle, lovely, little-bit-lion Frenchie girl to be your new best friend, I hope you apply to adopt me so I can start that chapter with you!
ROOOOOOOAR! (also means “bye”)
